Ben, Lightship’s co-founder, and Rory, who leads our commercial team, took the AE.1 down the Florida coast, camping along the way and opening it up for people to step inside and explore.
Every stop became a conversation as curious campers wandered over, longtime followers came to see it for the first time, and families stepped inside to explore the space and picture their own adventures. We parked, opened up, and let the experience speak for itself.
Between pop-ups, we settled into the rhythm of electric RV travel. Mornings under palm trees turned into quiet nights at camp. Charging at campground pedestals and public pull-through charging stations became part of the flow.
This was all about real miles, real campsites and a real, growing community discovering a new way to explore.

This is Bob Anderson's story, and what led him to make the switch. Bob came to Lightship with years of experience traveling in a traditional RV. He already knew the rhythm of RVing, and the tradeoffs that come with it.
For him, it always came back to power. How much you have, how long it lasts, and how often it shapes your trip.
